What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a healthcare-focused role where I can use patient access, insurance verification, and billing support skills to solve problems quickly, stay compliant with HIPAA, and contribute to smooth, high-quality patient experiences in a fast-paced team.

I’m a detail-oriented patient access and healthcare support professional with experience across call center operations, insurance verification, billing support, collections, and remote medical coding. In my current UF Health role, I assist patients with appointment scheduling and registration, verify insurance, update demographics, and handle coverage and billing questions while maintaining accurate records under HIPAA guidelines.

Before that, I worked as a Collection Specialist at Citi Bank, contacting customers for past-due accounts, reviewing account history, and negotiating payment arrangements while documenting activity in banking systems and adhering to compliance standards. Earlier, as a Certified Coder at Molina Health, I reviewed medical records to assign accurate diagnosis and procedure codes, validated claim details and supporting documentation, corrected coding discrepancies, and communicated documentation concerns to the right teams.
