I’m Harshita Roonwal, a final-year student at ABV-IIITM Gwalior, pursuing an Integrated B.Tech + M.Tech in Computer Science. I’m a full-stack developer with a strong foundation in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js, and MongoDB, along with a growing command over systems-level programming using Golang and C++, python. With hands-on experience in backend engineering, systems design, distributed workflows, and open-source platform tooling, I believe I can contribute meaningfully to any engineering team.

My experience developing Go-based microservices, gRPC APIs, and secure backend systems at VapusData has strengthened my ability to design, code, and implement high-performance features aligned with user and business needs. I engineered a complete ETL pipeline for synthetic data generation, a database migration system using Bun ORM, and a token-based authentication microservice, all emphasizing maintainability, reusability, and reliability.

In my open-source work with The Tor Project, I contributed to Rust-based distributed data pipelines, implementing async I/O and improving data validation for global network metrics , experience that deepened my understanding of system design, performance, and observability. I’ve also built Aidinity, a full-stack product using React, Node.js, and MongoDB, applying user-centric design principles and real-time API integration.

I consistently follow engineering best practices, participate in peer reviews, write clean, testable code, and enjoy collaborating across functions to deliver dependable software. I’m also passionate about continuous improvement and actively seek ways to optimize existing workflows and system performance.
