What I'm looking for

I am looking for a Senior Backend Engineer, Technical Architect, or Tech Lead role in a remote-first, asynchronous-friendly engineering team.

What excites me most is designing and building resilient, scalable distributed backends and integrating production-grade AI systems (LLM agents, RAG pipelines, and automated evaluation workflows). My primary strengths lie in Python (FastAPI/Django), Go, PHP (Laravel), TypeScript/Node.js, and advanced PostgreSQL performance tuning.

I thrive in engineering cultures that value high ownership, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), automated testing, and pragmatic delivery over bureaucratic processes. Open to full-time remote roles or high-impact technical consulting with overlap in US, EU, or APAC time zones.

I'm a Technical Architect and backend engineer with over ten years of experience building software that has to keep working after launch: distributed backends, data platforms, and the APIs that connect them.

My work usually starts where a system becomes hard to change. I draw service boundaries with Domain-Driven Design and hexagonal architecture, move slow synchronous flows to event-driven processing, and tune PostgreSQL until queries, indexes, and transactions hold up under real load. I care just as much about what surrounds the code:authentication and fine-grained permissions, CI/CD with safe rollback, and documentation another engineer can pick up without me.

Lately my focus is AI in software delivery. I build multi-agent workflows, RAG pipelines, and evaluation gates, and I treat AI-generated code like any other code: it ships only with tests and evidence that it works.

I also teach advanced SQL and AI-driven development to working engineers. Teaching keeps me precise. If I can't explain why a design is right, I don't trust it yet.

My everyday stack is Python, PHP (Laravel), Go, TypeScript, and Rust, with PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, and AWS.
