At eBay, I designed and built an automated pipeline for synonym changes in the Unified Normalisation System. It replaced a three-team process that took several weeks with a workflow completed in hours, and became the baseline for a larger machine learning system.
I also delivered the TechOps Hub, bringing category design and localisation work from dozens of tools and offline templates into one operating platform. Across 21 international eBay sites, I redesigned category rollout operations, reducing delivery time and resource use by 85%.
For more than two decades, I’ve also built and deployed systems for small organisations and charities, including business platforms that remain in daily use. I’m pragmatic about AI: I use it where it improves quality, speed or decision-making, and choose clearer rules, better data or simpler automation when those are the better answer.
