What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can own challenging backend systems, push performance and reliability, and mentor a team. I want the space to use AI-assisted workflows to move fast while staying rigorous on architecture and quality.

I’m a Senior Software Engineer at Quicksell & DoubleTick in Mumbai, where I take end-to-end ownership of complex backend features and push for measurable performance wins. I leverage AI-assisted development tools like ChatGPT, Cursor, and Codex to accelerate architecture exploration, debugging, and refactoring.

At Doubletick, I led a complete overhaul of the Flow builder—because performance was hurting users. I drove a deep refactor of the core engine and optimized our database queries, slashing automation execution time from 15,000ms to 80ms (over 99%) and reducing bot save times from minutes to seconds.

I also pioneered a new WhatsApp Calling feature from the ground up, architecting an in-platform calling experience using WebRTC and real-time media streams. I lead and mentor a team of four junior developers, translating large, ambiguous problems into clear, actionable tickets while focusing on shipping high-quality, scalable code.

Earlier, I built a high-performance analytics module for DoubleTick by processing data from a MongoDB database holding billions of records, delivering real-time insights like agent response times in milliseconds. I’ve also explored high-performance computing as a project intern—autoparallelizing C code with MPI for up to 4x speedups—and enjoy turning technical constraints into practical, user-ready solutions.
