Fernando Borbon
@fernandoborbon
Senior reliability data scientist focused on predictive maintenance, MLOps, and data governance at scale.
What I'm looking for
I bring more than 20 years of experience in data science for industry and service companies, with hands-on work installing sensors, deploying and managing IT infrastructure, and building machine learning pipelines across sectors.
In my current role, I develop AI models for predictive maintenance, automate existing data pipelines, and lead new PoCs through to MVP—while promoting the democratization of data science skills and tools. Previously, I delivered cloud-based ML solutions and retraining workflows on Azure/Databricks, set up BI and data-collection strategies, and contributed to European wind-energy research by developing modular tools and running complex measurement campaigns.
