At Nova Neuroscience, I manage medical billing and insurance claims, verify patient eligibility and benefits, and follow up on claims to support proper reimbursement.
I review denied or rejected claims, communicate with insurance companies about discrepancies and authorizations, and post payments and adjustments. I also maintain patient financial records and coordinate with clinical and administrative staff on coding and documentation.
Previously, I worked as a Medical assistant at Kar Medical clinic, a Patient Care Technician at DaVita, and a Front Desk Representative at Gastro Health. I also created after-school lessons at Shama’s Baby Palace and volunteered as a Tutor / Grader / Kindergarten Assistant at Marumsco Hills Elementary School.
