I build enterprise generative AI platforms and cloud-native systems on Azure, most recently delivering AI agents for service desk, customer support, and internal productivity automation.

At VodafoneZiggo, I architected Azure OpenAI solutions including an intelligent call-centre technician summarization platform, an internal knowledge-base Q&A system, a ChatGPT-like assistant, and an HR AI agent in Microsoft Teams. I also helped viaBOVAG.nl deliver Azure microservices and an AI chatbot using Azure OpenAI, Azure Speech, and Semantic Kernel.

At EDGE Technologies and EDGE Next, I led the platform and engineering teams as Head of Technology and Principal Architect, revamping the system into an event-driven Azure PaaS and serverless architecture. Earlier, I guided cloud-native and DevOps transformation at Dutch Railways and shaped .NET and Azure architecture at Odido.

I've spent more than two decades building backend systems with the Microsoft stack, writing and speaking for the technical community, and earning the Microsoft MVP award nine times. I enjoy advancing cloud engineering practices that improve scalability, efficiency, and innovation.
