What I'm looking for

I’m seeking a remote-ready role where I can support scholars and students with research, library information access, and academic advising—while continuing my MLIS path and delivering clear, deadline-driven writing and information management.

I’m an MLIS candidate with a sociology foundation and published academic writing experience. I’m driven to advance information access and support faculty and community researchers in academic environments through clear research, careful information management, and responsive student support.

I’ve contributed to scholarship as both a group research writer and an individual author. At the University of Guam, I co-authored a study on the Guam Educational System and wrote an individual paper, “Unlocking the Gateway,” analyzing how international policy and legal reform affected violence against women in India.

In my current role as an Academic Advisor/Counselor at Palau Community College, I update student records, organize class schedules, and prepare and submit student appeals. I also collaborate with community college staff and faculty to support student success in and out of the classroom, while providing counseling services to students.

Earlier, I served as a Community Service Aide in Library Services at the University of Guam’s RFK Library and worked as a Teaching Assistant. I supported patrons and faculty with research materials, maintained and updated records in the UOG RFK Library database with compliance to university policy and accreditation standards, and supported academic integrity through proctoring and outreach to student scholarship and research opportunities.
