At University of North Texas, I provide front-line customer and information services to students, faculty, and staff. I also manage scheduling systems and workflows that reduced service waiting times by 50%.
At Denton Public Library, I assisted patrons with books, databases, and digital resources during my practicum. I supported circulation services and children’s programming, including Storytime with 30+ participants.
My library work has also included supporting the “Help Me Grow” program at Denton Public Library and contributing to the founding of the Teen’s Dungeons and Dragons program at Laredo Public Library. At Botanical Research Institute of Texas, I entered metadata for the Sherwin Carlquist Collection.
I hold a Master of Science in Library Science with a concentration in Youth Librarianship from University of North Texas. My experience includes reference services, information literacy, and youth programming, and I speak English and conversational Spanish.
