What I'm looking for

I'm seeking an academic and professional transition into archival and museum studies, where I can gain hands-on experience, mentorship, and community while making research and historical materials accessible to broader audiences.

I've created and published historical and public policy content at ProQuest, drawing on archival materials for a policy-focused academic resource used in political science, law, public policy, history, and sociology.

I wrote and edited HTML and XML copy, performed quality-control audits, and handled indexing, metadata tagging, accession numbers, and data verification to make archival materials accurate and searchable.

At ICF International, I supported workforce, poverty, family-support, and disaster-recovery initiatives through research, stakeholder outreach, technical assistance, reporting, and event and webinar coordination. I also conducted structured interviews with 135 PEAF grantees and helped translate aggregate data into accessible materials.

My work spans communications, qualitative research, digital storytelling, and academic curation for organizations including AARP, Abuse Refuge Org, Howard University, and the Kwame Ture Society. I'm pursuing a Master of Library and Information Science and seeking mentorship, community, and hands-on experience in archival and museum studies.
