What I'm looking for
I currently serve as a Shift Lead, stepping in when the store manager is absent to ensure daily operations run smoothly. I handle cash and systems start-ups, maintain accurate scanning and pricing, and lead by modeling a positive, distinctive customer experience.
Previously, I worked as a General Manager, leading teams through e-Training and delivering clear expectations for performance, payroll, inventories, price changes, promotional markups, and markdowns. I owned expense management, created and analyzed monthly P&L, resolved customer complaints promptly, and partnered with district leadership and merchandising to meet operational needs.
Earlier as a Store Manager, I focused on recruiting, scheduling, counseling, and building a collaborative environment. I used data reports to improve customer service, production, sales, and inventory, while staying accountable for regulatory compliance, safety, and loss prevention.
Before retail leadership, I served as a Teacher/Counselor, providing supervision, supporting individual and group treatment plans, and documenting progress—work that strengthened my conflict management and coaching approach.
