Emma Ekunwe

I’m a detail-oriented and compassionate Psychology undergraduate with 3+ years of experience across customer service and administrative roles. I’m drawn to clinical research because it turns human-centered care into measurable, impactful health outcomes.

In my medical office experience, I greeted patients, ensured accurate intake forms, and protected confidentiality of health records. I managed appointment scheduling and physician calendars, supported smooth patient flow, and coordinated with pharmacies and labs to handle prescriptions and test requisitions.

I also bring strong communication and data-handling skills from high-volume, people-focused environments. As a customer service representative, I assisted 100+ customers daily while maintaining calm, empathetic service, and I kept accurate records to support operational improvement.

Through my Psychology studies and training in research-related areas, I’ve strengthened my ability to think ethically and work carefully with sensitive information. With coursework in Research Methods, Statistics, and psychological health topics, plus WHMIS certification and volunteer peer note-taking with strict confidentiality, I’m ready for an entry-level role in clinical research where I can contribute meaningfully and grow.
