What I'm looking for
I’m a Human Resource Officer with comprehensive HR experience across recruitment, onboarding, payroll processing, performance evaluation, and employee relations. I enforce and ensure NCA HR policies and procedures are adhered to in line with global HR standards and relevant Zambian labor laws for INGOs. I also provide capacity-building training for staff and managers based on identified needs.
I’ve managed payroll end-to-end, including calculating gross salaries, overtime, allowances, benefits, net pay after deductions, and handling retroactive payments and payroll adjustments. I monitor insurance coverage quarterly, update payroll systems with hires, resignations, and contract changes, and generate monthly payroll reports to support management decisions and audit readiness.
At Lumwana Mining Company, I supported HR audits on both physical and electronic files, improved onboarding through employee feedback programs, and helped implement biometric systems (X-Time) by capturing fingerprints/ID cards, correcting rosters, and training employees and coordinators. I’m also pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and bring strong IT capabilities with HRIS, MS Office, biometric systems, and Dove Payroll to drive accurate, compliant HR operations.
