I coach and supervise a team of 18 Rating Veterans Service Representatives, directing daily work priorities and keeping service quality and timeliness aligned to Disability Rating Activity Site (DRAS) performance indicators.
Before coaching, I worked as an RVSR and VSR in the Seattle RO, analyzing claims, applying VA’s schedule for rating disabilities, and preparing rating decisions that explained the basis and reason for each determination. I coordinated across DRAS/VSC teams and supported training via Lync on mental health conditions.
Earlier, I served in U.S. Army human resources roles, including Deputy S-1/ S-1 and Platoon Leader duties during deployments, handling personnel operations, manning, deployment planning, and medical force support across garrison and deployed environments.
