Passionate advocate for human rights through evidence-based anthropology.
What I'm looking for
With a Master of Research in Social Anthropology, I am dedicated to advancing human rights through evidence-based advocacy. My experience as a College Adviser for AmeriCorps has equipped me with the skills to support underrepresented communities, ensuring equity and justice in the NGO sphere.
Throughout my academic journey, I have honed my abilities in various quantitative and qualitative research methods, including SPSS, GIS, and ethnography. My auto-ethnographic dissertation, titled “Working Wanderers: Navigating migrant temporality in Rural Scotland,” reflects my commitment to understanding and addressing the complexities of human experiences.
In my current role as a College & Career Advisor, I advise over 250 students annually, guiding them through the post-secondary planning process. I design tailored workshops and presentations, collect and analyze data to measure impact, and mentor a student club focused on inclusion and equality.
