At Roanoke College, I developed genealogy profiles and timelines for The Center for Studying Structures of Race, highlighting generational impacts of racial injustice and supporting efforts to humanize historical narratives.
I led an independent study on how racial microaggressions affect student identity, academic engagement, and emotional well-being. I used sociological frameworks to interpret patterns of marginalization and power in educational settings.
I also collaborated on an interdisciplinary Disability Studies project examining healthcare disparities. I analyzed and synthesized data to identify institutional racism and ableism within healthcare systems.
In Roanoke College's Dean of Students Office, I supported administrative projects and event planning, and served as a point of contact for students, faculty, and visitors. My campus work also included coordinating culturally inclusive events and mentoring first-year students.
