As the Global Head of Legal & Compliance, I manage legal and compliance matters across multiple regions including APAC, ANZ, Americas, and EU. My responsibilities include drafting and negotiating various commercial agreements, providing legal advice to mitigate disputes, and developing compliance policies. I also oversee the legal framework and manage external counsel to ensure adherence to best practices.

Led legal operations in a startup environment across the APAC region, managing due diligence for Series A+ funding, drafting governance policies, and overseeing compliance. Responsible for various legal documents including NDAs, employment contracts, and IP matters while managing external counsel.

As Legal Counsel (Global) at Novotech, I was responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements, including confidentiality and service agreements. I advised on clinical trial agreements and led data privacy and compliance initiatives. Additionally, I implemented a Contract Management System to enhance contracting processes.

Managed intellectual property, personal data protection, product regulatory, and corporate functions for Lazada Malaysia. Prepared and negotiated commercial contracts, provided legal support for business continuity, and led regulatory requests from government bodies. Engaged with stakeholders and supported cross-border market expansion initiatives, ensuring compliance and mitigating legal risks.

Studied various aspects of International Commercial Law including Intellectual Property, World Trade Organisation Law, International Dispute Resolution Law, and E-Commerce. Completed a legal research project titled 'Peer-to-peer file sharing: An Analysis on the Aspects of Liability'.

Activities and societies: Member, The Honourable Society of the Middle Temple.

Completed the Bar Professional Training Course, focusing on various aspects of law including Criminal Litigation, Civil Litigation, Evidence, and Professional Ethics. Engaged in practical training and advocacy skills.
