Daniela Parker

I did my Bachelor in Communication and Electronics Engineering, I did my thesis in the automation of the extraction of data from an event recording using , Zigbee technology. Right after I worked installing, maintaining and repairing X-ray and narcotics and explosives detectors. Later I moved to the IT industry where I supported front Web development for a staffing industry, and XML automation generator for Point of sale for retail industry. I stayed there for a couple of years till I decided to do a Master degree in Material Science.

During that time I worked as part time student in an IT company doing internal development in ServiceNow platform using JQuery, JS, HTML and CSS. I did two internships regarding material science and did my thesis in the topic of plant biohybrids for energy storage applications. Currently I am ending my PhD studies as continuation of my Master thesis.

Throughout my career, I have pass through many industries and I usually enjoy learning new things, I enjoy interdisciplinary jobs, and currently I'm looking to either continue as a researcher in materials, or go back to IT industries committed to develop tools around sustainability. I am a team player with excellent attention to detail, self-management, and goal-oriented skills.
