I seek primary care or telehealth teams that value accuracy, patient confidentiality, and dependable administrative support. I expect clear communication, defined workflows, and access to necessary systems (EHR/EMR, scheduling tools). Open to part-time or full-time remote roles, and prefer teams that prioritize consistency and attention to detail in patient care.

I'm a Registered Nurse with 11+ years of clinical experience, now working as a Medical Virtual Assistant.
What I'm looking for
I spent over 11 years as a Registered Nurse before expanding into virtual healthcare support, and that clinical background shapes how I approach this work now. When you have spent years at the bedside, you develop an instinct for what actually matters in a patient's chart, what a provider needs to see quickly, and where small errors in documentation can cause problems down the line. I bring that instinct into every EHR entry, every scheduling task, every prior authorization I process.
My nursing career took me through a mix of settings, and along the way I picked up more than clinical skills. I learned how to stay organized when several things are happening at once, how to prioritize without losing accuracy, and how to protect patient confidentiality as second nature, not as a checklist item. Those habits did not disappear when I moved into administrative support, they just found a new outlet.
Right now, I work as a Medical Virtual Assistant supporting primary care and telehealth practices. On any given day, that could mean managing EHR/EMR workflows, preparing charts ahead of patient visits, coordinating referrals and follow ups, or working through insurance verification and prior authorization requests. I also handle ICD-10/CPT coding support and claims preparation, so I am comfortable on both the clinical documentation side and the billing side of a practice.
What draws me to this work is the same thing that drew me to nursing in the first place: I like being the person who keeps things running so the provider can focus on the patient in front of them. A lot of administrative burden in healthcare is invisible until it is not being done well, and I take pride in making sure it is handled quietly and correctly.
Outside of the day to day tasks, I am interested in how healthcare systems can run more efficiently without losing the human element. I do not think good patient care and smooth operations are separate goals, I think they depend on each other. That is the perspective I bring to every team I work with, and it is why I tend to work best with practices that value dependable support as part of quality patient care, not just an afterthought.
