What I'm looking for

I’m looking to move into the private sector where I can lead high-stakes operations—applying risk mitigation, asset protection, crisis management, and personnel leadership to stabilize incidents, protect assets, and build elite teams.

I’m a highly accomplished and adaptable Law Enforcement Leader with over a decade of experience in crisis management, team leadership, and complex operations. I’ve built a reputation as a “fixer” who stabilizes high-stress situations, manages large budgets and contracts, and develops elite teams under pressure.

As Detective Sergeant / Sergeant / Police Officer with Kent Police Department, I directly supervise 30+ personnel across four specialized units: Major Crimes, Crime Scene Investigations (CSI), Civil Disturbance Bike Unit, and the Valley Independent Investigations Team. I also serve as Acting Commander during supervisor absences—leading high-level stakeholder meetings, managing contract negotiations, and driving upward executive communication, while commanding specialized investigative teams during 24/7 critical incident call-outs.

I’m transitioning to the private sector to leverage my strengths in risk mitigation, personnel management, asset protection, and operational execution. I’ve led investigative work including plainclothes and undercover surveillance targeting human trafficking and high-profile felony crimes, co-authored and implemented city ordinances to address homelessness, and served as a Field Training Officer and Defensive Tactics Instructor—ensuring curriculum implementation, safety standards, and field readiness.
