At the Charlotte Amateur Astronomy Club, I created and administer an online catalog for its on-site library. I created and maintain individual bibliographic records for 551 books, improving discovery and access to astronomy and space-science resources.
I review and edit records, apply consistent cataloging and item-location practices, and check records for missing or inconsistent information. I also organize and label physical holdings so the catalog reflects where items can be found.
At the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, I created and evaluated bibliographic and descriptive metadata for books, images, and audiovisual content using MARC 21, Dublin Core, LCSH, and RDA. I also prepared digital objects and metadata for repository ingest, including filename normalization, rights and descriptive fields, and quality control.
At Union County Library, I support patrons across reference, circulation, youth, teen, and STEAM service areas. I help people navigate the catalog and digital resources, resolve access issues, and use public computers, printing, and scanning.
