What I'm looking for

I’m looking to apply my claims administration and compliance auditing background to help make accurate, policy-aligned decisions, while using my finance modeling skills to support operational effectiveness and business-ready recommendations.

I’m an Absence Management Specialist focused on evaluating claim information and supporting documentation to make informed decisions in line with policy, regulatory, and business requirements. I bring strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and organization to manage competing priorities while keeping case administration accurate and audit-ready.

Before that, I worked as a Claims Intern, supporting claims examiners by checking initial eligibility and helping ensure payment of over $1.5 million in short term disability benefits. I also conducted internal compliance audits of examiners and prepared reports for executives.

I’m comfortable operating in fast-paced environments and leading teams. As a Kitchen Manager and Bartender, I managed inventory and cost control through budget forecasts and vendor negotiation, supervised daily kitchen operations during high-volume shifts, and trained team members on food preparation and safety standards.

Alongside my operations experience, I developed a finance and compliance foundation through my BBA coursework. From corporate finance case studies, I built financial models using NPV, IRR, WACC, and DCF, and created executive memos with forecast assumptions and strategic recommendations. I also completed an SEO Writing internship where I researched SEC regulations, IPO processes, and state compliance to produce blog posts, webpages, and email campaigns aligned with compliance standards.
