@candidugas
As a writer, editor, and communications strategist, I craft powerful narratives across cultures + contexts to inform, inspire, and uplift.
What I'm looking for
As a New York Times award-winning writer, editor, and creative strategist — I l live for how my work makes a meaningful difference at the intersection of story, healing, and transformation. Throughout my career I’ve been working in and out of narrative design, brand storytelling, and editorial direction for mission-driven organizations, artists, and thought leaders who seek to move their work forward.
I’ve also thrived as a seasoned nonprofit executive, bringing both creative and strategic acumen to translate complex social, cultural, and spiritual concepts into clear, evocative language. My work often bridges disciplines: theatre and theology, psychology and communication, embodiment and liberation. Whether crafting content, guiding teams, or developing frameworks for integrated storytelling, I build coherence so that we can all see beyond the fragments that can distract us.
I’m deeply interested in projects that explore the future of community-centered creativity. I thrive in collaborative environments where imagination, rigor, and purpose converge to make tangible differences in the lives of people and their communities.
Open to writing, editing, and consulting, I look forward to opportunities with organizations and creative teams that value cultural insight, story architecture, and emotional resonance in their communication.
