Kelley Freund

I’m an award-winning communications professional with experience writing everything from feature stories and press releases, to copy for brochures and websites. I currently work as a freelance writer, creating content for schools and universities, as well as regional and trade publications. I collaborate with these entities to tell compelling, impactful stories that advance their brand and mission. Previously, I spent more than six years as an editor in university advancement communications offices where I interviewed alumni, students, faculty, and donors to write engaging narratives for the schools’ alumni magazines. I also provided copywriting and editing support for event invitations, fundraising materials, video scripts, and social media posts. My work has been recognized with two awards from the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education.
