Planned and executed a Kaseya Remote Monitoring, Management revitalization to improve adherence to end-point security standards. Tracked and updated non-compliant systems and collaborated on monitoring changes while addressing client concerns.

Triaged Tier 4 escalations and performed rigorous investigation, research, and response generation. Managed cases with CaseBuddy and produced custom SQL Server reports using reporting tools.

Coordinated the migration of Azure accounts to a new billing platform in collaboration with FTEs and contractors to support accurate, efficient transition.

Supported a local hospital system upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10 while minimizing disruption to medical and other staff. Conducted daily audits and follow-ups to resolve lingering issues post-upgrade.

Liaised with a certification vendor for Windows build 1709, 1803, and 1809 and managed team computing resources for security testing. Audited and validated configurations for FIPS 140 and Common Criteria, and deployed/maintained related lab infrastructure including Server 2016 services and Hyper-V.

Performed deployment activities for 2,500 monitors and 600 new/replacement PCs and supported audits to confirm correct installation and data access. Facilitated an Epic software upgrade with a remote clinic and documented/evaluated unexpected issues while coordinating with server teams.

Implemented new monitoring approaches for in-house and COTS applications and supported KPI dashboard work. Addressed SCOM system health and agent reporting issues by developing, documenting, and deploying ad-hoc solutions.

Administered 12 SCOM instances with 12,000+ agents by distributing client agents and tuning actionable monitoring for multiple enterprise teams. Improved system uptime through monitoring health audits, scripted agent remediation, clustered VM deployments, patching, and management pack tuning.

Helped construct a tier 2/3 support team and created a Hyper-V environment to replicate customer issues and test solutions. Supported SCOM-related support workflows by enabling internal testing and troubleshooting.

Reduced server count using Hyper-V by virtualizing SQL Server without compromising performance. Built processes for large-scale conversion of machines into virtualized packages and led scripted P2V automation with validation testing.

Owned SCOM agent health for 11,000+ physical and virtual machines across multiple environments. Maintained SQL 2008 server health, improved agent availability (95% to 99.9%), enhanced management pack deployment processes, and rewrote PowerShell scripts and SQL queries to support monitoring and troubleshooting.

Owned WPSET and SASET SCOM instances to establish reliable monitoring and managed WPSET Build Tracker prod/sandbox environments. Documented configuration procedures for SCOM monitoring and Build Tracker in physical and virtualized environments and supported deployment of new Hyper-V servers.

Provided Tier 1/2 support for Build Tracker and used SCOM to maintain a diverse set of servers and applications. Worked with Hyper-V and VMM to create and deploy 100+ VMs and supplied debugging information to customer teams.
