I got my start in desktop support and worked my way up into infrastructure management, which is still where my strongest instincts are. Early on I owned Active Directory environments end to end (DNS, Group Policy, domain design). From there I moved into VMware and Hyper-V administration, including racking, stacking, and cabling physical infrastructure in datacenters, and I ran Office 365 environments across several organizations.

Cloud came later, and it built on that foundation rather than replacing it. I picked up AWS fundamentals first, then worked in a Hyper-V shop, then ran a full vSphere/VMware environment where I got my first real exposure to Azure, and later took on another role centered on AWS. My current role is fully cloud, both Azure and AWS, but the way I approach it is shaped by years of managing infrastrucutre On Prem. I care about how something is actually built, not just which dashboard it shows up in.

I care about building teams that trust each other and communicate well, which shapes how I mentor and lead as much as how I run infrastructure. I'm fully remote today, and it's the setup where I do my best work. I'm open to roles centered on enterprise infrastructure, virtualization, and systems architecture, cloud or on-prem, where that depth of foundation actually matters.
