Dietitian focused on individualized clinical nutrition, dysphagia care, and patient education.
What I'm looking for
I’m a Dietitian dedicated to delivering individualized, evidence-based nutrition care that improves outcomes across inpatient and outpatient settings. I perform comprehensive nutrition assessments and translate them into tailored nutrition care plans for patients and their families.
In inpatient practice, I manage dysphagia by supporting diet texture modifications and safe feeding strategies, and I initiate, monitor, and adjust enteral and parenteral nutrition. I evaluate intake, lab values, and clinical response, and I partner with the multidisciplinary team to support coordinated patient care.
In outpatient work, I provide counselling for chronic conditions such as diabetes, GI issues, CF, and weight management. I develop and monitor nutrition care plans, educate patients and families, and complete required clinical documentation to ensure continuity of care.
Across my clinical training and related roles, I’ve built strong documentation and workflow skills using tools including Meditech, CBORD, EFR, STAR, and Clinical Portal. I also contribute beyond the bedside through nutrition education, delivering a Government of Nova Scotia, funded food literacy program and I bring the same patient-first mindset to community health support.
