At The Surplus Line Association of California, I led early adoption of artificial intelligence in core business systems, reducing transaction processing effort by more than 12,000 hours annually while increasing data extent and quality.
I established project management processes for internal and external development teams, directed initiatives across business units, and helped establish the organization’s first Project Management Office. I also refactored testing and release processes, reducing deployment time and defect rates by over 50%.
Earlier, I built a professional-services line of business from the ground up at Digital Map Products, Inc. At Rand McNally & Company, GIS Operations, I directed a data development and publication system that reduced costs and time-to-market by 40 percent.
