As employee no. 2 at a gaming startup, led and raised a £3.5M seed round with a £20M post-valuation from VCs across the US, Europe, and Asia. Designed and built a business development and partnership strategy that resulted in winning six tenders from global sports bodies.

Created the product roadmap, defining feature requirements, user research, and managing the delivery of the roadmap for an incubated fintech startup. Designed and executed strategy, growing the team to over 20 FTE and increasing customers tenfold with a new GTM strategy.

Sourced and diligenced a £3.8M seed investment in Techspert, an AI knowledge marketplace, and completed due diligence on three additional investments. Identified investment opportunities by representing Nauta Capital at over 30 events, investor meetings, and demo days.

Developed detailed financial models (DCF, M&A, SOTP) on financial institutions with a combined market cap of over $470 billion, generating trading ideas for institutional clients. Served as the primary investment analyst for regional banks and emerging fintech companies, providing accurate investment advice.

Managed NAB’s technology, economic, and social policy relationships with federal and state government, building and fostering long-lasting relationships with multiple stakeholders. Led negotiations with Australian Members of Parliament during the Financial Systems Inquiry and undertook macro-economic research for the Group Board.
