Brandi Ruona

I supervise a four-person support team at Fremont County Department of Human Services, coordinating coverage, reviews, timesheets, and client-facing public-assistance operations.

I help clients navigate applications and appointments, process online submissions through PEAK, and maintain case documentation in HSConnects. Previously, I supported the same services as a Clerk II, including EBT card issuance and document processing.

At the Bureau of Land Management Royal Gorge Field Office through Southwest Conservation Corps, I maintained lands, realty, and oil-and-gas records; updated billing and compliance information in LR2000; and completed right-of-way compliance checks for roads, powerlines, telephone lines, and communications sites.

My Biological Sciences degree in ecology, evolution, and organismal biology is backed by field experience with Colorado Parks and Wildlife, including park patrols, visitor services, boat inspections, fish stocking, and patrol-boat certification. I also volunteer as a 4-H Leathercraft project leader, helping members build practical skills for County Fair projects.
