What I'm looking for

I seek a role that allows me to integrate digital methods into language-focused research while fostering my growth in computational linguistics.

I'm a history undergraduate at Middle East Technical University (METU) with a strong academic interest in the intersection of language, computation, and historical linguistics. My studies in historical methodology and language change have shaped a deep curiosity about how language reflects and reshapes human thought.

Currently, I'm actively strengthening my Python skills and exploring the foundations of language annotation and natural language processing (NLP). My goal is to build a bridge between the humanities and digital tools—applying computational methods to support language-related research. I'm also seeking remote, entry-level opportunities in language annotation and linguistic data tasks to grow professionally and gain hands-on experience.
