At UT Health San Antonio (Be Well, Texas), I support social science research projects through recruitment, data collection, literature reviews, and day-to-day project operations. I also prepare materials for publication and guide lower-level research support personnel.
My work has included overdose prevention projects in San Antonio, El Paso, Austin, Laredo, Dallas, and Corpus Christi, as well as statewide EMS programs. I manage Naloxone Texas social media accounts across multiple platforms and represent the organization at community events and conferences.
Previously, I served as an Adjutant General Human Resources Officer in the USAR-United States Army Reserve and as an Assistant Professor of Military Science with Texas Tech Army ROTC. I hold a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Forensic Science from Texas Tech University and am pursuing an M.S. in Criminology and Criminal Justice at Texas A&M-sa.
