@arusakhan
PhD-qualified lecturer and module leader specializing in inclusive research-informed learning.
What I'm looking for
I’m a PhD-qualified Lecturer and Module Leader with over eight years’ experience delivering teaching across Foundation, Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes within UK Higher Education. I lead modules from planning through delivery, assessment, quality assurance and continuous enhancement of the student learning experience.
I’m experienced in academic leadership, including module leadership, curriculum development, assessment design, internal moderation and quality assurance. I create engaging, inclusive and research-informed learning environments through face-to-face, blended and online teaching, tailored to diverse student cohorts.
Across my roles, I’ve supervised undergraduate and postgraduate dissertations—guiding students on research design, methodology, ethics, academic writing, critical analysis and independent research. I support students from proposal development through final submission, helping ensure high-quality academic research outcomes.
Professionally, I currently serve as a Single Point of Contact (SPoC), providing proactive academic advising and pastoral support to support wellbeing, engagement, retention and academic success. I also bring strong research and teaching practice, including quantitative and qualitative data analysis using SPSS and NVivo, as well as blended learning support with Blackboard, Moodle, Turnitin and Panopto.
