At Alera Group, Inc., I guide clients and brokers through benefits administration, from plan implementation to ongoing eligibility management. I work with Employee Navigator and Ease to process hires, life events, terminations, and open enrollments.
I build, test, and maintain carrier and HRIS integrations, including 834 EDI, XML, APIs, Data Exchange, and Payroll Data Exchange. I also implement and renew benefit plans, audit payroll integrations, and train client HR teams on Employee Navigator.
Before moving into benefits technology, I interpreted for medical and emergency-services settings with AMN Healthcare and LanguageLine Solutions, including work for hospitals, emergency lines, and federal agencies. I hold a bachelor's degree in International Business from Universidad de Colima and speak Spanish and English.
