I’m Anthony, and I’ve been building production web apps for years across Cigna Healthcare (patient portal rebuild) and BNY (enterprise backend and real-time shipment tracking without polling).

At Cigna, I led the rebuild of a patient portal using Next.js 14 App Router with Server Components and Client Components, and I also integrated GraphQL with Apollo Client to reduce perceived latency by 50% with normalized caching.

I’ve owned backend architecture for high-volume applications—REST APIs, GraphQL services, microservices, background workers, and event-driven workflows—and deployed secure systems on AWS and Azure using Docker and Kubernetes.

Across roles, I’ve worked on real-time features with WebSockets/Socket.IO and Kafka/RabbitMQ/Redis, shipped CI/CD with Azure DevOps and other tooling, and added testing coverage with Jest, Cypress, and Playwright—so teams can deliver reliable features on tight timelines.
