At Western University, I’m conducting research on deicing and anti-icing coatings, investigating environmentally friendly alternatives to fluorinated coatings for infrastructure resilience.
At NUST, I led an award-winning research project on bio-derived ceramics as sustainable alternatives to conventional engineering ceramics. I investigated structure–property relationships through experimental research, and the work received the Rector's Gold Medal for Best Final Year Design Project.
My research on corroded steel pipes combined corrosion science, electrochemical testing, literature reviews, and predictive modeling to support infrastructure life prediction.
As Chair – Recruitment & Retention at PCSA, American Ceramic Society, I led an international committee of 11 members and coordinated recruitment that welcomed 48 delegates from six countries. I’ve also built Python-based machine-learning pipelines and an Excel reporting dashboard during internships.
