Angeline Cherotich

I am a dedicated and self-driven Information and Communication Technology (ICT) professional, committed to improving the development and efficiency of digital systems. I’m passionate about leveraging my academic background, technical skills, and practical experience to support e-governance initiatives and strengthen digital service delivery.

I’m currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology at Mt. Kenya University, expected to be completed in 2025. I have also attained a Certificate in Basic Digital Skills (January 2025) and a Diploma in Information Communication Technology from Eldoret National Polytechnic.

In my experience as an ICT Intern at Rivatex Company (Eldoret), I maintained data communication network equipment, supported first-line ICT users, and helped with network documentation. I also assisted with requirement analysis for upgrades, performed troubleshooting and basic repairs of IT hardware, and supported inventory and asset tagging for IT equipment.

As a Voter Verification Clerk with the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), I verified voters’ registration and biometric details and supported the digital voter management system. I ensured timely and accurate data entry, engaged the public professionally, and take pride in my integrity, accountability, and ability to work independently or in a team.
