Andres Alzate

I’m an Industrial Engineer from the National University of Colombia, focused on process optimization, quality management, and logistics/supply chain operations. I combine continuous improvement methods with practical analytics to help teams standardize work, reduce deviations, and improve operational outcomes.

Most recently, I supported the implementation of an Information Security Management System aligned with ISO/IEC 27001:2022 as an intern. I assisted in building and consolidating compliance documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures, risk matrices, and process flow diagrams, while improving traceability and internal process standardization. I also helped with internal audits and follow-up activities to ensure controls were monitored and continuously improved.

Now, I’m working as a Production Administrator, planning and coordinating daily production operations to meet schedules, quality standards, and operational objectives. I track and analyze performance indicators, coordinate with logistics/quality/maintenance teams to ensure readiness, and prepare operational reports for decision-making. Alongside this, I run a specialty coffee entrepreneurship project where I explore coffee agribusiness, branding, and commercialization—gaining hands-on experience with small-scale logistics and building an online store using digital sales platforms.
