I started my sale career with my late dad's company. It wasn't supposed to be a career thing in the first place because then my dad's company was running at a loss that he had to bring us in because he couldn't afford to proceed with having paid staffs. I noticed that anytime customers comes to our cool spot to relax after work and could not get their preferred beer brand there's this disappointment written boldly on their faces,sometimes some opt in for another available brands while the ones that are big on their brands will just sit or leave. One thing is common to these set of people, their dissatisfactionhave negative impact on our sales and business at large. Even the one that managed to settle for the available brands wouldn't buy as much as he or she should and they tend to lament throughout their stay at the bar sometimes their dissatisfaction energy rubber off on other customers. This same experience is what I noticed when customers comes in when they have their preferred beer brand but now a happy customer. They feel relaxed and even tend to buy more than planned, their joy too is shared when they have the privilege to engage in conversation with other customers too relaxing themselves. We sell more when we have different brands available and in when they're in cold temperature.

This experience has really changed the way i see selling. I noticed it is not only by you making, it's also by supporting people to get what they want at a particular time even though both seller and buyers end up benefiting from this act.

I took it upon myself since this time to engage in selling to people. It's my act of support people in getting what they want in life. I applied this mentality in the bank industry(UNITED BANK FOR AFRICA) for some years as a Direct Sales Executive where i sell different banking products to people,I did the same as a project facilitator at Nigeria Covid19 Action Recovery and Economic Stimulus where i sell hope, financial support, agricultural implements and assets, different plants seeds to people especially the vulnerables that lost different things during Covid19 virus breakouts and lockdown which i am still doing. All of this just so they can rise again and support the growth of the economy again.
