What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a fully remote Senior Cloud, Platform or DevOps Engineering role where I can combine my Software Engineering background with cloud infrastructure, automation and security. I’m particularly interested in AWS, Kubernetes, IaC, CI/CD and building reliable, scalable platforms.

I’m a Senior Cloud & Platform Engineer with a strong Software Engineering background and 16+ years of experience building, modernising and automating scalable systems and SaaS platforms.

My career started in software engineering and architecture, where I developed strong expertise in system design, APIs, microservices, testing and software development. Over time, I moved deeper into DevOps, cloud infrastructure and platform engineering, allowing me to work across the full engineering lifecycle—from application architecture and code to infrastructure, CI/CD, security and production operations.

My recent experience focuses on AWS, Microsoft Azure and IBM Cloud, Infrastructure as Code with Pulumi, Kubernetes, Docker, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Linux, cloud networking and infrastructure automation. I also build automation and tooling using Python, Bash/Shell and cloud-native CLI tools.

At Utimaco, I worked as a Senior Cloud Engineer on the Payment HSM Interface (PHI) platform, designing and implementing end-to-end AWS deployment and teardown automation using Pulumi, GitLab CI/CD, Python, Bash and AWS CLI, while also working with Azure and IBM Cloud environments.

Previously, at Perfect Portal, I worked across Senior DevOps and Senior Software Engineering roles. Among my achievements, I introduced Pulumi-based infrastructure automation for AWS environments across multiple regions, reducing infrastructure provisioning from around a week to approximately 20 minutes.

Security is also an important part of my engineering approach, including cloud and infrastructure security, IAM, network security, vulnerability management, secrets management and DevSecOps practices.

I’m particularly interested in Senior Cloud Engineer, Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer and Cloud Platform Engineer opportunities where I can combine my software engineering background with cloud infrastructure, automation and platform engineering.
