What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a student-centered role in residential life or student outreach where I can mentor teams, manage sensitive situations with confidentiality, and use data and structured programming to improve community support and engagement.

I recently earned my BA in Psychology Counseling (graduated May 2024), and I’m now focused on roles where I can combine people-first support with structured, reliable follow-through. I also maintain a path as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT-26-2829128), aligning my career with evidence-informed care.

Most notably, I served as a Resident Director and Residential Engagement Coordinator/Student Outreach Coordinator at Maryville College (Aug 2024–Oct 2025), where I orchestrated a secure, welcoming residential community of 200 students. I mentored and trained a team of 10 Resident Assistants, handled student conflicts and emergencies with confidentiality, and led residential programming to strengthen engagement and personal development. I also optimized the MC Cares Initiative through refined caseload management and improved visibility of Basic Needs closet resources through targeted advertising.

Before that, I supported residents as a Resident Assistant (Aug 2021–May 2024), guiding students through academic, personal, and social challenges while enforcing dormitory policies and responding effectively to emergencies. I organized community-building activities, mediated roommate and neighbor disputes, and helped maintain a harmonious living environment through clear communication and conflict resolution.

Alongside student leadership, I’ve built experience through mentorship and service: I worked with Power Youth through STARS Nashville (2021 and 2022) to strengthen financial and job-related skills, collaborated weekly with the Martha O’Bryan Food Bank, and taught practical skills like gardening and culinary arts. I also interned with McNabb Center on houselessness outreach—supporting housing assistance via federal grants and entering client information into HMIS—and served as a CES Senior Intern, presenting curriculum and managing service-hour data for a cohort of 60.
