I’m a senior-level NOC engineer with 13+ years in IT and 5+ years of hands-on fiber ISP/MSP operations. In my current role, I take direct responsibility for a multi-site fiber network spanning 142–155 customer sites across Arkansas, Tennessee, and Mississippi, with a strong focus on getting complex incidents to resolution fast.

As a de facto Tier III escalation point, I lead root cause analysis for network events and coordinate vendor TAC escalations to closure. I drive advanced troubleshooting across Juniper MX/QFX core and distribution, A10 CGNAT, and Calix E7 XGS-PON/GPON infrastructure supporting both residential and business services.

I manage fault isolation, configuration, and maintenance for Calix E7 OLTs, DZS MXK v2/v14 OLTs, and 150+ ONT devices. I diagnose ECC/FEC error trends, optical degradation, and provisioning failures, and I oversee an OpenSync/Plume-managed residential gateway fleet—producing formal escalation packages when needed to document symptoms, evidence, and vendor actions.

I also turn recurring NOC problems into automation and better processes using Python and GitHub-based tooling. My work includes real-time NWS alert monitoring, multi-vendor config backup/diff, and OpenSync RF health analysis from Plume Frontline logpull tarballs, plus runbook and RCA authoring and junior staff mentorship. I hold JNCIA-Junos, Calix CBE, CWNA, CWDP, and CompTIA Network+, and I’m actively pursuing JNCIS-SP and CWAP.
