We are seeking an experienced Load Coverage Specialist/Dispatcher to join and help establish a high-performing dispatch team. This role requires strong expertise in load coverage, freight coordination, and dispatch operations. They are building a strong, experienced dispatch team and looking for a veteran in the load coverage field to lead operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end load coverage and dispatch operations

• Coordinate with carriers, drivers, and customers to ensure timely pickups and deliveries

• Track and monitor shipments, providing proactive updates to all stakeholders

• Handle conflict resolution and problem-solving during transit

• Communicate effectively with drivers, addressing issues and providing support

• Use loadboard and TMS systems for freight management and dispatch

• Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and customers

• Lead by example and potentially mentor junior team members as the team grows

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in load coverage, dispatch, or freight brokerage operations

• Strong experience using loadboards, covering loads, and moving freight

• Excellent communication skills with clear English proficiency (phone-based role)

• Proven ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve conflicts

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills

• Customer service mindset with a focus on relationship building

• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and strong work ethic

• Experience with standard TMS systems used for load coverage and dispatch

• Leadership qualities and the ability to set standards for a growing team

• Working schedule - Mon-Fri 8 am-5 pm
