Stay safe on Himalayas

Never send money to companies. Jobs on Himalayas will never require payment from applicants.

Are you a NetSuite Administrator who thrives in a dynamic, high-growth environment? Do you see a manual process and immediately think of ways to automate it? We are looking for a Senior Admin who is passionate about leveraging the full power of NetSuite to support seamless, scalable back-end infrastructure.
We need a forward-thinking expert who is tired of manual brute force and is curious about how AI and automation can make the Finance team’s life easier—whether that’s using AI to write a script faster or deploying tools to automate complex close reconciliations. Your expertise will empower our teams to operate seamlessly, ensuring our systems are robust, secure, and aligned with organizational goals.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Be the go-to NetSuite expert, with full ownership of administration, optimization, and cross-functional system support.
  • East Coast location preferred, ideally commutable to our Holmdel, NJ HQ for occasional visits

System Administration & Governance

  • Maintain system health: Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues promptly, and execute patches to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Ensure data integrity: Perform regular data audits, manage data migrations, and implement best practices for data hygiene and quality across the organization.
  • Manage user access and security: Configure roles, permissions, and access controls to ensure data security and compliance with information security standards.

Automation & Solution Design

  • Partner with the CFO organization on AI initiatives: collaborate to identify and implement AI-driven opportunities that increase operational efficiency and automate routine tasks.
  • Drive process automation: Proactively identify opportunities to automate core financial workflows (Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Record-to-Report) to reduce manual effort.
  • Manage the development lifecycle: Oversee the sandbox environment and follow a structured release management process for designing, testing, and deploying all system changes and customizations.
  • Collaborate on requirements: Partner with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable, best-practice NetSuite solutions.

Reporting, Analytics & Finance Support

  • Support Month-End Close: Partner closely with the Finance team during the month-end close process to troubleshoot errors, resolve data discrepancies, and ensure timely financial reporting.
  • Develop actionable insights: Create and maintain complex saved searches, financial reports, and KPI dashboards to support decision-making for Finance, Operations, and Warehouse teams.
  • Enhance visibility: continuous exploration of reporting enhancements and visualizations to support business analysis across all departments.

User Support, Training & Documentation

  • Serve as the first line of support: Troubleshoot user-reported issues and resolve system errors for stakeholders across the organization.
  • Empower end-users: Develop and deliver training materials and comprehensive system documentation (configuration details, process flows) to ensure users utilize the system effectively.
  • Manage change communication: Own the communication of platform changes, new features, and maintenance windows to end-users and stakeholders.

Upgrades & Continuous Improvement

  • Manage system upgrades: Lead the effort for quarterly NetSuite upgrades by assisting with impact analysis, regression testing, and post-deployment validation.
  • Drive continuous improvement: Participate in initiatives to explore automation or AI-driven capabilities to keep the system modernized and efficient.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • 5+ years of direct experience as a NetSuite Administrator.
  • Experience supporting Finance or ERP environments with a deep understanding of accounting processes (GL, AP, AR, Project Billing, Inventory).
  • Experience with Zone Billing (or similar complex billing tools) supporting recurring and usage-based subscription models is required.
  • NetSuite Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Saved Searches, Reports, Dashboards.
  • Security & Compliance: Demonstrated ability to manage system security, roles, permissions, and change control processes.
  • Integrations: Strong experience with third-party integrations; familiarity with middleware like Boomi or Celigo, and platforms like High Radius is a major plus.
  • Systems Thinker: A passion for efficiency, ensuring processes work well together to streamline commercial operations.
  • Problem Solver: Excellent analytical skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting complex system issues independently.
  • Communication: Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, bridging the gap between business needs and system capabilities.
  • Growth Mindset: A self-starter willing to dig into new concepts, make recommendations with limited information, and adapt to emerging technologies (AI/Automation).
