For patients and their loved ones, the healthcare system can often be difficult to navigate, stressful, and frustrating. Vital is on a mission to create beautiful, intelligent software for patients and providers to address these challenges. The Vital team is determined to make experiences easier for patients, care teams, and health consumers by unleashing simpler ways to navigate and engage with care. By transforming complex, fragmented healthcare data into simple, beautiful digital experiences, Vital aims to provide more control, clarity, and predictability in care. Their software uses advanced artificial intelligence (AI) to achieve this, offering personalized interfaces that inform and engage patients without requiring downloads or passwords. This approach helps patients better understand their progress toward discharge, request services and comfort items, set goals, view lab results, share their health status with family, and book follow-up care.

Vital's solutions, such as Vital Emergency and Vital Inpatient, are designed to make it easier for healthcare providers and health systems to engage and communicate with patients during emergency department visits and inpatient stays. The company's intuitive and efficient software helps people within and beyond the hospital set expectations, complete goals and tasks, request service, receive and understand their status, share progress with loved ones, deliver feedback, and make decisions. Over 100 hospitals utilize Vital's technology to improve patient satisfaction, drive growth and patient loyalty, achieve better clinical outcomes, and reduce workload for care teams. The platform is HIPAA-compliant, cloud-based, and integrates with any electronic health record system, demonstrating a commitment to security and interoperability. By focusing on consumer-grade software and AI, Vital strives to break down information silos, connect with patients to deliver a superior experience, and reduce clinician burden. This customer-centric approach has led to high patient adoption rates, with over 57% of patients in partner emergency departments using the Vital Emergency solution.
