What you will do

UBI is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and driven individual to join our team is an exciting phase of growth with this hands-on role! This is a new role added to expand our Sales & Marketing team for Xprecia, with a specific emphasis to develop our point-of-care (POC) Coagulation business in the US/Canada. You may be based anywhere in East Coast US as this role is fully remote with direct report into the VP of North America.

As the Business Development Manager, you will drive sales growth in the US/Canada for Xprecia Coagulation Analyzer and Test Strip (https://www.universalbiosensors.com/products/xprec...), which provide a quick, convenient and accurate method for medical practitioners to monitor the effect of anticoagulant therapy warfarin in hospitals and alternative testing facilities.

Who you are

We are looking for a results-driven and proactive candidate who may be degree-qualified in Business/Marketing (or similar) coupled with a relevant Science-related education/background; or, degree-qualified in Science (or similar) with a business/marketing background. POC Coagulation industry experience preferred, esp. related hospital network.

The role will perform (but not limited to) the following activities:

  • Establish and Manage key hospital network and distributors’ relationships, including assessment that partners demonstrate required competencies and performance.
  • Contribute in competitor and business analysis work related to the POC Coagulation industry
  • Co-ordinate and participate in the development of all sales & marketing initiatives, including trade shows and stakeholder presentations.
