In addition, we continue to develop new applications for our technology within human health with the upcoming US launch for the next generation of coagulation monitoring device, Xprecia Prime™, following FDA clearance received in March 2024.

What you will do

UBI is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and driven individual to join our team. This is a new role added to expand our Sales & Marketing team, working with our Sentia team on west coast US, to support customer needs while creating continuous repeat product purchase pipeline and addressing any technical queries.

As the Customer Care & Inside Sales Specialist, you are the primary contact for Sentia customer enquiries and one of the liaisons with distributor partners to support their selling activities. Sentia is our ground-breaking product developed for winemakers, now, with 6 tests to support and revolutionize the winemaking process (https://sentiaanalysis.com/).

Who you are

We are looking for a customer-focused, results-driven and proactive candidate who is degree-qualified in Business/Marketing or Wine Science (or similar). You'd have at least 2 years' experience in similar customer management and/or inside sales role. Winemaking understanding and/or wine-testing knowledge would be essential.

The role will perform (but not limited to) the following activities:

  • Manage and respond to customer enquiries and information requests, inc. troubleshooting L1 complaints/issues.
  • Address technical queries and train customers on 'how to use' where necessary.
  • Conduct targeted outbound sales activities to generate new sales leads and/or customer reorders
  • Support distributor partners in all product sales/promotions activities, inc. training distributor team members.
  • Assist in maintenance of CRM for US Sentia team.

You are a customer person with the ability to work autonomously and independently with good attention to detail – bringing knowledge and skills such as:-

  • Strong relationship and customer management skills, inc handling customer complaints effectively and efficiently.
  • Ability to articulate a customer proposition and close a sale on repeat orders
  • Ability to influence and communicate effectively
  • Experience collaborating with a cross-functional team, e.g. Operations, Engineering and Quality, within global organisation
  • Sound computer skills, inc CRM and Microsoft Office suite.
