Senior DevOps Engineer

Recently, Transifex was acquired by XTM! By merging with the XTM product portfolio, we gain access to enterprise-scale translation management infrastructure, expansive out-of-the-box integrations, and a significantly increased investment into our product roadmap.

The Role

Join our innovative team as a Senior DevOps Engineer and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our cloud-native infrastructure! You’ll work in a dynamic, collaborative environment, driving the deployment, automation, and optimization of cutting-edge systems. Responsibilities

• Operate and deploy cloud services from development to production
• Develop tools and automations to make operations and deployments simpler and more robust
• Monitor and improve the performance of our systems
• Troubleshoot issues, do capacity planning, and analyze system performance
• Work with developers on solving technical problems
• Proactively identify security issues in the product and infrastructure and help addressing them when they arise

Requirements

We're only considering candidates based in either Greece or Poland for this role.

This is a full time role on a contract of employment for Greece.

• Proven experience as a Platform Engineer, Senior DevOps Engineer, or similar role
• Deep expertise in cloud platforms, such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native ecosystems
• Observability Monitoring: Experience with Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, or similar tools
• Proficiency with one or more Infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, Ansible
• Strong skills in at least one scripting language (e.g., bash / Python)
• Experience in at least one industry-standard CI/CD platform (Jenkins, Github Actions, Argo)
• Good knowledge of version control systems (Git)
• Passion and experience on performance and scalability of web applications
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, working effectively in cross-functional teams

Nice to have:

• Experience with message brokers (SQS, RabbitMQ, Kafka)
• Related Certifications (e.g. CKAD,CKA,AWS Solutions Architect)
