We are a US company with a strong presence in LATAM and across 20 countries around the world. We are seeking an experienced Senior Frontend React Developer to join our dynamic engineering team on a 6-month project. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing user-facing features for our client's platform. As a senior member, you will also contribute to architectural decisions and ensure best practices in frontend development are followed for responsiveness, scalability and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and build scalable, high-performance, and responsive web applications using React and related technologies
- Consume the appropriate API's (Restful) as part of the frontend development.
- Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality code
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Backend teams to deliver seamless user experiences
- Lead code reviews and promote code quality, maintainability, and scalability
- Optimize components for maximum performance across devices and browsers
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and bugs, as well as work with QA engineers in resolving all defects
- Stay up-to-date with emerging frontend trends, technologies, and frameworks
Requirements:
- 7+ years of frontend development experience, with at least 5+ years using React in SaaS environments
- Minimum of proven B2 English
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend tooling
- Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, MobX, or Zustand
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, GraphQL, and integration with backend services
- Familiarity with component-driven development, testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library), and CI/CD pipelines
- Deep knowledge of cross-browser compatibility, responsive design, and accessibility standards (WCAG)
- Proven experience optimizing frontend performance and load times
- Must have a proven B2 or better in English and ability to work 8 hours per day
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, soft and communication skills
- Demonstrated progressive experience using React including the latest release
- Experience working in agile projects using Scrum
- Experience working with Azure cloud environments
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Higher Education Platforms (SIS, LMS, CRM)
- Experience with Next.js, Server-Side Rendering (SSR), or Static Site Generation (SSG)
- Familiarity with design systems and component libraries (e.g., Material UI, Ant Design, Chakra UI)
- Experience leading frontend projects or initiatives
- Exposure to micro-frontends, module federation, or frontend architecture patterns
